FACTORS OF HAPPINESS LEARNING AMONG THAI NURSING STUDENTS

Abstract

Background: Happiness learning in nursing education is very beneficial for students, for both current and future success. If we know what those factors are, it helps the students learn efficiently and attract them to the profession.

Objectives: It aimed to identify the instructional factors effected happiness learning of Thai nursing student

Methods: The sample was 361 nursing students at Boromarajonani College of nursing, Chakriraj, under Ministry of public health, Thailand. The research instruments were the instructional factors effected happiness learning of Thai nursing student questionnaire with the reliability of 0.96. 2) Data were analyzed using, mean, standard deviation and factor analysis.

Results: The result revealed that the instructional factors effected happiness learning of Thai nursing student composed of 6 factors. These included: 1) the curriculum and motivation to learn 2) Features of Effective Instructor 3) Learning Support 4) searching support center and student development activities 5) Teaching strategy to promote thinking and problem solving and 6) suitable for course and schedule.

Conclusions: Teachers need to create for happiness learning in which the students feel free to engage in learning activities so that students can learn more and have a better outcome in learning process
